Messages: open Messages from the bottom navigation, search for someone you follow and start chatting. You can pick a chat theme per conversation, send media, and see read receipts (if both people have them on).

Message requests: people you don't follow can request to chat — you decide whether to accept.

Calls: start a voice or video call from a conversation.

Privacy: block anyone at any time, and control who can reach you in Settings → Privacy.
